Wikipedia editors snooping email, invading privacy, making threats, etc.

hmmm., while we are NOT fans of MSNBC, we wonder, why would an organization (or supporters thereof) seek to remove inaccurate, misleading, speculative, and/or defamatory information which might also raise security concerns from Wikipedia? Could it be that there is a lot of that on there?
