Anti-JIDF YouTube Campaign

There is a hilarious, massive YouTube campaign against the JIDF and (Google apparently). It seems a vast array of Muslims, Jihadists, and antisemites on YouTube think we are "unfairly" targeting their accounts and that videos (which are against YouTube's rules) are "unfairly" being pulled from YouTube. (Apparently no one realizes that YouTube has rules, and has complete authority as to what they allow or do not allow on their servers.)

If anyone would like to see the impact the JIDF is having upon all sorts of people like the one above, please feel free to search for us on YouTube. You can currently find 45 videos when searching for "Jewish Internet Defense Force" - and 70 searching for "JIDF" - if you search for "Zionist" in the past week, you can find quite a few more which pay tribute to our work (and also take issue with Israel and Zionism).

Again, if people see their channels and/or videos listed on our site(s) and they do not feel they are promoting hatred, violence, or breaking YouTube's own rules for any reason, please contact us and we will re-consider the listing. However, many of the "anti-JIDF" videos which have gone up recently are clearly showing physical violent attacks and other shocking content, so it makes complete sense to us why YouTube has taken so many of those videos down (see photos below, click to enlarge):

We wish to thank all JIDF volunteers and staff who have worked to find and report problematic online content. Again, please find our Guide to Youtube on our site and our YouTube playlists to continue helping in the effort.

We feel we are making YouTube a better community by calling attention to videos which are clearly breaking their own rules.

Finally, there is another campaign on YouTube urging many people to flag our channel and our one video. When flagging, YouTube makes it clear that it is also a feature of theirs which can be abused and can cause accounts to be suspended. Therefore, we urge people to only flag videos and accounts which seem to break YouTube's rules.

Since we do not aim to break any YouTube rules, people who are trying to get us suspended are most likely at risk for suspension themselves. We hope YouTube will look at the videos of the people who are flagging us, as these same folks who have qualms with the JIDF are likely to have videos which are against YouTube's rules. Thanks!

Soon to come: JIDF will cover "freedom of speech" law as it applies to YouTube and to companies like Google.
