More Facebook Issues: Disabled Account

The same key JIDF Facebook account has been disabled, yet again. This happened only a few weeks ago, and the account was quickly reinstated. We hope that this will be the case this time as well. We ask that you please write to Facebook on our behalf. Here is the email which was sent to Facebook, (including our contacts at the senior level):

Dear Facebook:

I have been disabled, and I'm not sure what I have done. I know many people are constantly reporting me and I have been getting warnings. I have been trying to heed those warnings when I get them (regarding the sending of too many messages).

Again, a lot of my work is done on Facebook - I have been active on my account for over a year, and have a ton of personal notes, correspondence, groups, posted items, and work I have done on Facebook.

I would very much appreciate it if you could reinstate my account.

I have over 2500 friends on Facebook who are going to wonder what happened!

Thank you for any help in the matter.
We are beginning to feel that Facebook might be disabling Jewish, pro-Israel, pro-IDF, and pro-JIDF accounts because certain Facebook admins' own antisemitic or political reasons, as we, and our thousands of members of supporters, have witnessed the promotion of terrorism, hatred and violence against Jews and the Jewish state on Facebook, which apparently goes unpunished. Just look at this group - it's supposed to be "fighting cancer" - but with it's 1.3 million members, its description has changed and it now seems to be the biggest antisemitic hate group on Facebook!

Again, we hope for a quick reinstatement, before we focus all our energy on the many problems on Facebook. While this key JIDF account is disabled, feel free to consider all the many things Facebook does allow, and please "share" this with your friends. For example, this Hamas fanclub:

**UPDATE: Facebook finally took down the aforementioned "Hamas" group after the JIDF brought it to their attention--probably due to pressure from the BBC who interviewed us today. Although, Facebook also reinstated the account and has spent over 5 hours on the JIDF site, it has now been disabled YET AGAIN! - We were rigorously defending our organization in a group which accused us of "hacking" and other illegal activities. Facebook has a rule against content which "brings unwanted attention or embarrassment to an individual or group of people." And although we did report the group alleging these things about us, we did feel the need to defend ourselves in it as well. We believe we were moving too quickly and Facebook disables accounts which send more than 2 messages per hour. We were not harassing or "spamming" anyone. Facebook is getting very annoying. We hope for a faster reinstatement this time around.

In the meantime, a new HAMAS GROUP sprung up:

HAMAS

Organizations - Political Organizations

Size: 236 members
