6 Free Easy Ways to Support the JIDF

Many people express a desire to support our work, but don't currently have the funds, so we have figured out free and easy opportunities for them to help the cause.  As we've mentioned, the goal now is to increase traffic to the JIDF, so we can become a top-ranked site which will interest advertisers.   We've studied the various ways to do this and we need your help.

We urge you to become an ambassador of the JIDF through the following methods:

  1. Subscribe to the JIDF Daily Alert
  2. Share links to the JIDF or articles on the JIDF with you friends, family, and fellow activists using email, twitter, Facebook, stumbleupon, digg, forums, etc.  If you're an admin of a Facebook group or other online groups or forums, message all your group members with links to article on JIDF site...often!
  3. Download and use the Alexa toolbar for firefox and set the JIDF to your homepage.  This tool allows you to see the rankings and detailed information of all the sites you visit.  Those who use it help the Alexa rankings of the sites they visit.  You may also write a review of the JIDF on Alexa, which some people believe might also help ranking.
  4. Encourage other bloggers to link to us and to add us to their blogrolls, and we will return the favor (so long as the site meets our standards...)
  5. Add the JIDF "Proud Supporter" avatar to your site
  6. Find advertisers or sponsors of the JIDF and earn 10% commissions on ads sold.  (Contact us to discuss further.)
In the meantime, you may follow the founder of the JIDF Twitter, or drop us a line to stay in touch, alert us of any issues you encounter, or if you're interested in having the JIDF help promote your efforts.

Of course, despite the 6 free ways you can support the JIDF, we won't stop you if you'd like to make a financial gift to the JIDF, or if you'd like to shop at the JIDF store.

Thank you all for all your support and for helping to keep this effort alive and thriving!
