First, read this to read about and see photos of young people in Kiryat Arba who are daring to brave the settlement freeze. Then, please write a letter to Israeli Knesset.

(feel free to write your own as well)

Dear leaders of Israel:

Kiryat Arba is a historic part of our country. I have just viewed pictures of children, babies and young parents being forced by the Israel Police to sleep out in the cold as their miniscule homes are ruined merely due to the "settlement freeze" and not due to any inherent legality such as use of private property. I regard these young Jews as pioneers whose steadfastness is the only thing that keeps the hills around Kiryat Arba from reverting to terror nests as happened in Gush Katif. I therefore beseech you to "make noise" about this matter, so these dedicated young people -- all students and combat soldiers -- and their tchildren -- will no longer be unfairly persecuted. It is not enough for the Government of Israel to merely leave these young folks alone, although sadly, that would be a big step forward as well. They must immediately receive adequate governmental assistance in the form of rental housing which must be built on these hills, for young couples. The bravery and dedication of these young people should be helped - not hindered. Please note that these hills are literally next-door to Kiryat Arba! I look forward to reading or hearing press reports about your activities in this matter.
