The UK is also recommending that Jews living in Yesha should wear yellow stars on their sleeves... [sarcasm] But don't think that these "recommendations" have anything to do with peace. All these attacks and attempts at delegitimization of certain areas of Israel are only reflective of the latest manifestation of Jew hatred and the desire for the piece by piece destruction of Israel and the Jewish people. The greatest shame of it is that there are Jews and large powerful Jewish organizations (on both the left and right side of the political spectrum) who feed into this and actually believe the antisemitic propaganda that certain (mostly religious) Jews living in certain areas of Israel are obstacles to peace (and thus, should be ethnically cleansed? eliminated? and their homes, property and businesses should be handed over to Islamic terrorists? As if that would create peace?)
Spokesman Yigal Palmor of the Foreign Ministry said, "It looks like it is catering to the demands of those whose ultimate goal is the boycott of Israeli products." Chairman Dani Dayan of the Yesha Council, which represents the Jewish communities, said the decision was the "latest hostile step" from Britain. He added, "Products from our communities in Judea and Samaria should be treated as any other Israeli product." Israeli officials said they feared this was a slide towards a broader boycott of Israeli goods. It is a matter of concern."
