JIDF Supporters Fight Back on Facebook: Revenge for the Jewish Chronicle Hacking

At last two Facebook groups (potentially more) have been taken over by JIDF supporters apparently in reaction to the hacking of the Jewish Chronicle:

One was a ripoff of the JIDF calling itself the "Palestine Internet Defense Force" with over 1,500 members, and another one was called "jidf" You Will Never Silence Us."

Being that Facebook has reverted such "attacks" in the past and given groups back to Hezbollah propagandists and antisemites before and that Facebook staff keeps a close eye on anything JIDF-related in general, we're sure that Facebook will "fix" this "unfortunate" situation as well.

Rest assured, the JIDF itself had nothing to do with these attacks and we're not sure how they were accomplished, but we do find them amusing.  It's always good to see Jews who are not afraid to fight back.  It also continues to show how vulnerable and insecure Facebook is as a platform in general (much like its ownership and staff, who continue to seem to bend over backwards to hurt our effort and appease antisemites and Islamic terrorist supporters....) Is Facebook a place where you or your content is safe from intruders? Absolutely not. And "hackers" are the least of your concerns, when it has been shown that Facebook staff have abused their power there, and even the sister of the owner of the company, Randi Zuckerberg, goes around threatening to deactivate accounts of people with whom she has personal issues.

What they don't seem to realize is that we would have much preferred to work with Facebook on the problems of antisemitic and jihadist content on their platform. Unfortunately, it seems clear to us that they tacitly approve of such material. In many ways, Facebook's continued attempts to create obstacles for us have only freed us up and forced us to be more creative with our approach.

That said, again, while we had nothing to do with these specific "attacks," we were made aware of them, and do find them amusing on many levels.

Finally, how many days has it been since thousands of JIDF supporters reported this antisemitic cartoon that Facebook has not taken action to remove the hate?
