ACTION ALERT: Report Islamic Terrorist Google Chrome Extensions!

A friend recently alerted us to the fact that Hezbollah TV (a/k/a "Manar TV) now has its own Chrome extension.  Lovely.

Of course, considering Google's record of allowing jihadist videos to go viral on YouTube, this should come as no surprise.  Here you can read, directly from the developer's site:
In His Name, the Most High

I have developed a few web browser extensions and apps for Press TV, and will be doing the same shortly for Sahar TV. .....there’s no need to rely on the corporate media that feeds garbage to the world, there is an alternative – in English – and it provides information and news that is reliable, verifiable and accurate.  Share the love people!
The love.  Heh.  That's a new one.  Lots of "love" coming from Hezbollah and the Iranian regime (Press TV). Here's the developer of this trash on Twitter.  Lots of great anti-Israel, pro-Hezbollah propaganda there.

Please click here to report the Hezbollah page as "abuse." (UPDATE:  You need a Google account to do this, so make sure you sign in if you have one, and if you don't please sign up for one in order to report this material!)  Click the box next to "This item promotes violence or is hateful." And describe what Hezbollah is all about in the box to "Describe why you are reporting this item for review."

You can try doing the same for the Press TV page here, but considering Google almost seems to aid and abet the Iranian regime by featuring Press TV propaganda prominently in their Google News section, we doubt they will remove that extension.  We might have a shot with removing Hezbollah, though.

Lastly, please report the extension for Sahar TV here.

On the developers page, he has a list of Islamic terrorist extensions he has created or is creating, even for other browsers.  Here is the entire list, thus far:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
  • Mozilla Firefox Browser Extension for Press TV (In development)
  • Mozilla Firefox Browser Extension for Sahar TV (In development)
Internet Explorer
  • Internet Explorer (7 and newer) Extension for Press TV (In research phase)
  • Internet Explorer (7 and newer) Extension for Sahar TV (In research phase)
We need to monitor these developments.  Please help us keep an eye out for extensions "in development" and "in research phases" and we must figure out how to report them for those browsers as well.
