Originally this video was spotted in the 225,800 strong "Jews" page on Facebook. It helps sum up the idiocy of those who protest Israel, and also provides some great talking points for students who deal with anti-Israel protests on campus:

We liked this video so much, that it is now the main video showing on the Official JIDF YouTube Channel  (which we encourage you to add/subscribe to, as we hope to launch videos in 2011.  If you have videos you'd like us to help promote, contact us!)

Censorship of the Jews?

On another note, we're very annoyed, as the 44,000+ strong Official JIDF Facebook page ( seems to be experiencing an internal Facebook "glitch" (ie. censorship?) It's been going on for over 48 hours now. We're told that many other pages are experiencing this, so that is a relief as we're hoping Facebook isn't going on another antisemitic censorship campaign against the Jews, again. It's depressing when they do that (especially that this important post won't even get fed to the 44,000+ people who "like" our page on Facebook!)

If you'd like to try to help the issue, you can submit a bug report to Facebook here, just be sure to mention the page's URL ( and you can use the screencap found, here.
Health Update of JIDF's Founder

Speaking of depressing, we're not sure if you've been following David Appletree's Tweets on Twitter, but he's dealing with some serious spinal issues lately.

It began in mid-October and he hasn't been able to do much, or have much of a life since the beginning of November.

Lately, his life has been all about being taken to a variety of doctors, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, and pain management folks, etc. and getting various MRI's (hips, lumbar, thoracic, etc.), bone scans, and most recently, a myelogram, which involved dye being injected into his spine.

He's on all sorts of muscle relaxants and pain killers (variations of percocet, vicodin, lyrica,  baclofen, flexeril, and valium).  None of them seem to be doing much at all, especially when he tries to walk, and gets shooting pain and muscle spasms up and down his back, and down his legs--both sides--which often take him down to the ground.  He describes what he's going through as "absolute misery and the worst pain I've ever experienced.  Like a jolt of electricity going through my entire body."

After looking at the myelogram results, a neurosurgeon diagnosed him with congenital spinal stenosis, a herniated disk, and a bone spur and says that David needs an open laminectomy due to the severe nerve compression.

David's Hebrew name is Avram Tzvi Hersh ben Leah for those who might wish to daven (pray) for him, and we can't think of a better time to support the JIDF than now.  It's a miracle we're still able to keep this thing running without David being 100%, but he's convinced it's happening to make him, and his work even stronger in the end, so be sure to click here, or the big blue banner, below, to help keep this effort (and David's spirit) alive, kicking, and fighting!
