Facebook Removes Hundreds of 'Third "Palestinian" Intifada' Pages

The title here should be the reality. Sadly, it is not. Actually, it shouldn't be the reality as these pages shouldn't even exist in the first place.  As we have argued repeatedly in the past, Facebook should implement a filtering system to detect this type of content.  As you can see by merely searching on Facebook, there are still hundreds of these pages, with millions of people who are actively promoting hatred and violence against Jews and the Jewish State.  This does not even include all the straight up Islamic terrorist pages and Holocaust denial pages which continue to go viral on the site, thanks to the negligence of Facebook and others.

The problem on Facebook is overwhelming, and has been for over three years.

For some reason, the "Third Palestinian Intifada" pages appear to have awoken the Jewish Establishment from their slumber about the problems on Facebook.  Barely.  They are putting out some press releases.  But are they doing enough?  Where have they been?  Perhaps if they weren't asleep for years, these issues would not be to the extent they are today. And even today, their calls for the removal of this content seem weak.

Before another ignoramus chimes in about "free speech," we will remind you that it does not exist on private servers, with private rules supposedly against the promotion of "hatred" and "violence" (as Facebook claims to have).

Serious money and resources needs to be funneled into these issues in order to be truly effective, which is why, this Passover, we encourage you to generously support the only organization that has been on top of these issues since the beginning.  The proof is on this site.  Help us to continue to pressure others to wake up to these issues.  Help us to continue publicly call for the removal of antisemitic content, Islamic terrorist content and Holocaust denial content wherever it may be.

Despite extremely limited resources, we have been responsible for getting companies to remove THOUSANDS of pages which promote hate and violence against Jews and the Jewish State, while the mainstream Jewish establishment organizations have brought in millions to accomplish absolutely nothing on this front.
