"Find Out Who Visits Your Facebook Profile" Spam Scam Goes Viral

Once again, Facebook proves to be a highly unstable site that cannot be trusted.  People's accounts are easily intruded upon.  Criminals, identity thieves, marketers, and worse, Facebook itself, can easily access to everything you've shared.  If you don't know what you're doing, you can make your friends and family vulnerable to the threats as well.

In just one of the many scams currently running rampant on the vulnerable platform, a message stating:

LOL!! I cant believe that you can see who is viewing your profile! I can see the TOP 10 people and I am really OPENMOUTHED that my EX is still checking my Pix and my Profile. You can also see WH0 CHECKS YOUR PR0FILE here)
Screencap of latest scam:
The scam links to this Facebook page (WARNING, DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THERE) - which then tells people to insert a java code, which then causes their profiles to spam all their friends wit the same aforementioned link.

Facebook again, is slow and negligent removing this page, dealing with this problem, and with many other important issues.

FACEBOOK SAFETY/SECURITY TIP:

Unless you want some nameless, random, shady developer, marketer, or identity thief, etc. having access to some or most of your "personal/private info or data" you've shared on Facebook---and access to your friends and some of their info, the following screencap should be how things look when you go to Privacy Settings--->Apps and Websites (EDIT YOUR SETTINGS)--->Apps you use--->Edit settings--->

REMEMBER:
  • DON'T "like" any page promising you to tell you who viewed your profile. Nothing will you that capacity (unless Facebook itself decides to, but don't count on it...)
  • DON'T do anything telling you to insert Java code in your browser while on Facebook (unless you really know what you're doing...)
  • DON'T trust Facebook with anything personal or private
